10/07/2020

Teeth are solid structure so it is almost impossible to adjust by conventional methods or by tips if something has gone wrong and has been defective since teething. Therefore, if you want to adjust to have nice teeth, the only way is to apply dental techniques to correct the shape, teeth placement, teeth growth direction, color and the detailed correlation between the teeth, lips and gum. These following treatments will be a useful “secret” for you!

Teeth whitening

If your teeth are stained, making you lack confidence when smiling, teeth whitening will be the best suggestion. It only takes about 20-60 minutes for your teeth to become white. Normal whitening will last about 2-3 years, it would increase up to 5 years if you choose the more effective method of whitening.

Your teeth will look much better after whitening. Note: qualifty of the outcome varies on each case.

Teeth grinding

This method is rarely used and when used, it is only for when the teeth have very small defects such as crooked, elongated teeth, ugly teeth edges…
With the grinding method, your teeth will be sharpened or shortened to reshape the crown. This method requires grinding of the pulp so it is easy to grind the real tooth, reducing the chewing function, so grinding is not the way the doctor encourages to bring you a nice teeth.

Porcelain veneers or porcelain teeth

This is a method of using porcelain material to reshape your teeth to look better from the outside. Porcelain crowns and porcelain veneers cover the teeth inside, helping to beautify the shape of the teeth and brighten the teeth.

This method is applicable to many teeth defects such as:

  • Stained teeth, Tetracyline and Fluor infection
  • Slightly crooked teeth, teeth size is abnormal, teeth having irregular appearance.
  • Teeth with enamel erosion and many grooves, chipped teeth…
  • However, to do this you have to accept grinding tooth tissue. It means you have to wear porcelain veneers and porcelain teeth for life.
